I have bad news. There’s yet another social media platform gaining popularity. Meta revealed Threads earlier this week and it already becoming the place to be for writers, readers, and literary enthusiasts alike. If you’re a writer eager to follow literary magazines to submit your work to, I’ve listed some of my favorite magazines that have already joined Threads.

KENYON REVIEW (kenyonreview)
A journal since 1939. Will open submissions September 2023. Publishes poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.

YALE REVIEW (yalereview)
Was founded in 1819. Publishes poetry, fiction, essays, review essays, and translations. Will open for submissions September 2023.

THE NEW YORKER (newyorkmag)
Founded in 1925. Is a multi-platform publication known for its in-depth reporting, political and cultural commentary, fiction, poetry, and humor.

BAD LILIES (badlilies)
A digital journal for poetry. Publishes 6 times a year.

VARIANT LITERATURE (variant.lit)
Nonprofit publisher of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Open for submission until July 31, 2023.
